"Azure Waves Rising with Hues" The 8th Shantou University Public Art Exhibition

This series of posters was created for the 8th Shantou University Public Art Exhibition, themed "Azure Waves Rising with Hues." The design draws inspiration from the ocean’s colors and the rhythm of tidal surges. By utilizing innovative materials and visual language, it reflects the deep connection between nature and humanity.
In this design, the edges of corrugated paper serve as the core visual element to depict the fluid motion of waves. The distinctive texture and structure of the corrugated paper emulate the undulating layers of the ocean waves. Through the deconstruction and reorganization of its form, the design conveys the dynamic beauty of ever-changing tides. At the same time, the repeated texture of the corrugated paper resonates with the rhythmic patterns of tidal flows, imparting a sense of spatial hierarchy and dynamic tension to the composition. This choice of material not only delivers a strong visual impact but also reflects the innovative application of everyday materials in public art, embodying a spirit of experimentation and creative practice.
This poster series is not merely a visual representation of the ocean's essence but also an exploration of materials and artistic forms. By utilizing the widely accessible medium of corrugated paper, the design challenges conventional perceptions, reinterprets the beauty of nature, and aligns perfectly with the exhibition's theme, "Azure Waves Rising." It showcases the boundless potential of public art.
