The format of this poetry collection lies somewhere between a newspaper and a book, constructing a hypothetical scenario that does not exist in the real world. It invites readers to imagine, based on their own experiences, the possible transformations the poems might undergo within this layout context.
The entire layout is divided by fold lines, which act as invisible grids that define distinct textual zones. Readers are free to fold the work to reveal any of its 36 surfaces. White correction tape marks are used to space out the verses, suggesting both the segmentation of the poem and the illusion that some lines are incomplete or hidden. This encourages readers to fill in the gaps themselves, fostering interaction between reader, text, and author, and drawing them into the act of poetic creation.
Through this single act of creation, the work becomes a cross-disciplinary dialogue between literature and design. At the same time, visual elements—such as mixed layout structures and inverted typeface strokes—embody the designer's perception of the poet's actions, thoughts, and emotions.
